Symposium Overview

The focus of the National Tribal Symposium to Advance Transportation (NTS) will address the most relevant and pressing tribal transportation challenges. This year's Symposium fosters a multi-modal culture and networking opportunities between tribes and federal officials. Expanding the Symposium to include the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration provides Tribes with unparalleled access to both agency’s unique and universally common themes that cross all modes.

Tribal transportation professionals are responsible for conceiving, planning, designing, initiating, constructing, maintaining and operating transportation infrastructure, and it is essential to receive effective solutions and useful tools to maintain and improve tribal roads.

One-on-One Meetings

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with FHWA, the Tribal Technical Program (TTP), and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to discuss challenges, seek guidance, and topics related to their program. Meetings are optional and can be requested during registration.
